Welcome to Sneaker News #6, last sneaker news for the year. This time round we have seen Yeezy doing his thing releasing another clean pair, we also see Ronnie Fieg creating a great Adidas Consortium collab maybe even the best of the year and lastly we see Jordan bring the year home with two great retro releases. So sit back, hopefully in aircon with a beer out of this crazy heat, and add a few more shoes to that wish list! Merry Christmas catch you all in the new year!

Jordan 11 Space Jam
If you were like me as a kid, you would have watched the movie Space Jam a hundred times and been a huge Looney Tunes and Michael Jordan fan. This week, His Airness (Michael Jordan), delivered the Air Jordan 11 worn in the iconic movie to the delight of many. This is the second Air Jordan released in a retro colourway, with this style featuring subtle differences, the most notable being the number 45 on the heel of the upper instead of the traditional 23. The upper stays true to the 11’s with classic patent leather in black accompanied by a white midsole and blue accents on the outer sole and Jumpman logo. This style sold out fast from Footlocker and Nike Online.
Adidas x Yeezy 350 V2 Black/White
Last week, Kanye and Adidas returned to release another Yeezy 350 V2 style. The monochromatic style has a black upper with white stripe across the outside of the shoe. White is also speckled white throughout the upper, with SPLY 350 written in black on the stripe. These are the cleanest colourway of the latest Yeezy 350 V2 silhouette and predictably sold out in record time!
New Balance 247 ‘Friends and Family’
New Balance introduces a brand new silhouette with the 247. This is a sleek lifestyle sneaker that has taken inspiration from older NB styles like the 998 and 576. Sadly, for most of us, the 247’s first release will be a Family and Friends only release. Made from premium materials, the sock liner upper comes in grey, contrasting with a turquoise blue toe box sitting atop a comfortable REVlite sole. Whilst there is no general release for these, keep an eye out for more colourways of this new silhouette to hit our stores soon.
Reebok Club C Royal Blue/Gum
This year, Reebok has bought back the Club C style in a bunch of general releases and collaborations. This week’s general release in Royal Blue/Gum may be one of the nicest so far. The upper features the iconic white leather that Reebok do so well, alongside royal blue branding on the heel and tongue. As the name suggests, the outside of the upper is finished off with a gum outsole. These are at all Hype DC stores and online.
Air Jordan 3 Dark Grey
The Jordan brand has been experimenting with different materials and textures on their classic silhouettes lately. That being said, it is no surprise that the latest Jordan III comes to us with an upper made from a premium grey wool, sitting atop a clean white sole. These are a modern, cold-weather friendly take on a classic shoe and with not many sizes left on Nike Online, you will need to grab them quick.
Nike Cortez ‘Nai Ke’
Nike has kept it classic, releasing the traditional colourway of the Cortez silhouette in white, red and blue. The shoe is a subtle nod to Chinese customers, featuring only minor changes, with an all-white leather upper with red swooshes along the outer side of the upper while the inner side has a blue Swoosh. These are a shoe for old school Nike lovers and are a limited release on Nike Online.
Ronnie Fieg x Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Mid
If you have read Sneaker News before, you may have noticed that Ronnie Fieg is an idol of mine and possibly my favourite sneaker designer in the current market. It is no surprise that his latest collaboration with Adidas Consortium may be one of the best yet. Fieg has created a new silhouette the Ultra Boost mid, a version of the uncaged Ultra Boost with a multi-coloured wool prime knit upper and the crisp white boost sole. These are limited and will release in Australia on the 31st December from Highs and Lows.
