If you‘re into whisky, High West’s Double Rye whiskey is definitely a drop worth sampling. The Double Rye is a combination of a feisty high 2 year-old and a smooth rich 16 year-old rye whiskey, great when served neat, on the rocks, with a dash of water or in a classic whiskey cocktail like a Manhattan. The Double Rye is available from a number of sellers, but if you’re up for an adventure, High West is located in Old Town Park City and Utah’s oldest distillery and saloon is the only ski-in gastro-distillery in the world.

It’s not actually Utah’s oldest Saloon. That would be the Shooting Star in Huntsville, Utah, near Snowbasin ski resort. Shooting Star was opened in 1879. Highwest opened in 2009. http://www.utah.com/schmerker/2001/huntsville.htm
Oh, I didn’t know the shooting star had a distillery in it… oh, they don’t? Oh, so High West is in fact, the oldest DISTILLERY AND SALOON in Utah.
Or you can just get snotty about it.
