As of 12 pm today (AEST), Amazon Prime Day Australia has officially kicked off with a 36-hour window to grab the best deals available. As this is the very first Prime Day in Australia, we thought we'd help out by explaining how it all works to ensure you are ready and able to get the best available deals during this day (and a half).\r\n\r\nFirst and most important of all, you have to be an Amazon Prime member to take part in Prime Day. If you're not a member yet, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial\u00a0here, or simply join at their introductory price of just $4.99 a month.\r\n\r\nOk so now that you're a Prime Member, here's the type of deals to look out for and what they mean:\r\n\r\nToday's Deals\/Upcoming Deals: To see all deals before they go live, simply go to the "Today's Deals" then "Upcoming". If there is any product that you are interested in, you can select "Watch this Deal" to keep track of deals and to be informed when a specific deal has started.\r\n\r\nLightning deals: As the name suggests, these are deals that are available for a limited time only or until stocks last so members have to be quick to snatch them up. Lightning deals across all categories can be found on amazon.com.au\/primeday, and all customers are only allowed to purchase one of each of the lightning deals.\r\n\r\nSpotlight deals: These are deals that will appear live throughout the 36 hours (or until stocks last) and will include deep discounts on popular products.\r\n\r\nWaitlist: If you've missed out on a Lightning Deal, you will have the option to join the waitlist by clicking the "Join waitlist" button on the product page. This will notify you if new stock is released.\r\n\r\nThe best advice we have is to check the site regularly and download the Amazon App to keep an eye on deals even when you're on the go.\r\n\r\nAmazon Australia has promised great deals including the lowest prices so far this year on FireTV, Echo and Kindle devices, awesome deals on video game consoles and popular games such as Call of Duty WWII, Far Cry 5 and God of War, up to 60% off in-demand fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Fossil, and Lorna Jane, massive audio discounts including Sony, Bose, Sonos and more!\r\nBelow are some of the best deals so far:\r\nEcho Plus - $114.50 (RRP $229)\r\n\r\nEcho Spot - $149 (RRP $199)\r\n\r\nEcho Dot - $39 (RRP $79)\r\n\r\nAmazon Echo - $109 (RRP $149)\r\n\r\nFire TV Stick Basic Edition - $49 (RRP $69)\r\n\r\nPS4 Pro 1TB Console with Bonus Fortnite Content - $379 (RRP $519)\r\n\r\nBose QC35 Series II Wireless Headphones - $329 (RRP $415)\r\n\r\nMaclaren M-01 Strollers - $100 (RRP $139.99)\r\n\r\niRobot Roomba 690 Vacuum - $579 (RRP $849)\r\n\r\nDJI Spark Series Fly More Combo - $639 (RRP $758)\r\n\r\nPhilips Premium All in One Slow Cooker - $179 (RRP $328.65)\r\n\r\n50% off Selected Men's watches including Fossil, Skagen and more - From $74.50\r\n\r\nPlaystation 4 500GB Console - $289 (RRP 419)\r\n\r\nBeats Studio Wireless Headphones - From $255\r\n\r\nNikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55mm STD Kit - $399 (RRP $568)\r\n\r\nRing\u00a0Spotlight Cam Battery HD Security Camera - $194.99 (RRP $262.20)\r\n\r\nCall of Duty WWII Games - $19.99 (RRP $48)\r\nSunbeam London Collection 4 Slice Toaster - $59 (RRP $99)\r\nP.S.
