With Sydney Contemporary set to deliver a raft of local and international artists to Sydney’s doorstep next month, Man of Many has a bunch of tickets to give to our loyal fans who’d like to get involved.
The art fair, which is the region’s largest, has grown exponentially in recent years, with a huge focus on local talent and, importantly, accessibility, with a broad collection of modern artworks pitched for every budget.
Sydney Contemporary’s opening night turns Redfern’s Carriageworks into an immersive, all-encompassing night of art, music and food, featuring some of Sydney’s most exciting performers to take audiences on a journey throughout the fair. With a musical program curated by VICE featuring live performances by Sydney musician Marcus Whale of duo Collarbones and trio BV, and visual-artists-turned-musical-duo Ginger and the Ghost. There’s also a series of official after parties across the city at 107 Projects, Arcadia and The Bearded Tit, thanks to Concrete Playground.
Opening Night audiences will experience the works of Performance Contemporary – the fair’s performance art component. Performance Contemporary showcases innovative and striking performance works by established and emerging artists Rebecca Conroy, Hayden Fowler, Caroline Garcia, The Huxleys, Garth Knight, Claudia Nicholson and Justene Williams.
Sydney Contemporary has teamed up with Man of Many to offer readers 20% off the full price for opening night tickets and adult day tickets to the fair. Simply enter the code MANY at the checkout.
