Best New Games Coming in August 2022

1. Saints Row
After a decade away, the Third Street Saints are back for another dose of gang warfare and over-the-top action. The new Saints Row is a reboot of the popular series. It sees you create a hero and join the new gang members to drive, shoot and explore your way through Santo Ileso, the biggest Saints Row playground to date. Take on thrilling side hustles, criminal ventures and blockbuster missions as you tighten your grip over the streets in single-player or drop-in/drop-out co-op.
Saints Row is said to feature the most advanced character customisation tools ever seen in an open-world game. You can head over to the Saints Row website right now and download Boss Factory – free tools for experimenting and creating your character, who will then be ready to import directly to the game when it launches on August 23.

2. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
The best-selling and critically-acclaimed Spider-Man game from 2018 is finally coming to PC! Marvel’s Spider-Man is the previous PlayStation exclusive now enhanced for performance with all the DLC included. An experienced Peter Parker battles big villains including Kingpin, Electro and Mister Negative and balances relationships with Mary Jane and Miles Morales through the vibrant neighbourhoods of an open-world New York. 3. Rollerdrome
The year is 2030. In a world where corporations rule and the lines between reality and performance are blurred, citizens are kept distracted by a brutal new sport – Rollerdrome. The new third-person shooter blends high-octane action with rollerskating for a cell-shaded experience like no other. Grind, kill and pull off tricks fighting to become Rollerdrome champion and unravelling the mysteries behind the corporation’s true intentions. 6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection
The Cowabunga Collection assembles 13 classic TMNT games into one bodacious package. Jump into some couch co-op or take select titles online for the very first time. The games within the collection are enhanced with new features, including the ability to save and rewind at any time. In this upcoming action/strategy title, you play as a possessed lamb on a quest to build a loyal following of woodland creatures to worship your otherworldly saviour. Players collect resources to build new structures and improve their camp while performing dark rituals to appease the gods. Then, train the flock to embark on quests, cleansing non-believers and spreading enlightenment. You’ll also explore a sprawling, randomly generated world, fighting hordes of enemies and defeating rival cult leaders to absorb their power and ensure you’re the leader of the one true cult.

The new Saints Row is a reboot, telling an original story starring new members of the Third Street Saints and setting them off in a new city brimming with criminal opportunities and over-the-top action.
The upcoming game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is delayed to a release window of 2023/2024. Previously scheduled to release around James Cameron’s forthcoming Avatar film sequel, the Ubisoft title was delayed, so the developers have additional time to make it “perfect.”
