Resident Evil 4 is one of the all-time greats. It lifted the Resident Evil series to new heights and launched a now familiar style of 3rd-person gameplay. The defining horror experience returns with a remake for PC and modern consoles. Capcom says the RE4 remake preserves the essence of the original game, now reconstructed to deliver realistic visuals and additional narrative depth that wasn’t possible in 2005. Further upgrades are said to include increasingly frenzied combat through new enemy attacks and a new parry system to give Leon S. Kennedy an edge while surviving the madness.
