Best New Games Coming in November 2022

The selection of new games for November 2022 comprise of some serious bangers. But what they do not include is Skull and Bones. Instead, Ubisoft delayed its long overdue pirate adventure once more for what hopefully rounds out the huge list of 2022 game delays. What isn’t delayed, at least at the time of writing, is the new God of War, new Pokemon, new Call of Duty Warzone, new Sonic and a killer-looking horror western from the Shadow Warrior devs called Evil West. 1. God of War Ragnarok

Midgard is freezing over. Kratos and Atreus are forced from the safety of their home and must brave the nine realms once more to face the coming Ragnarok. God of War Ragnarok is the highly anticipated sequel to one of the best PlayStation games of all time (and my personal favourite). In a world brimming with mythology and deadly Asgardians, the two unlikely companions have trained and are equipped with brutal weaponry in preparation for their inevitable encounter with the Norse gods. Kratos once again wields the Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos, along with a slew of new abilities. And Atreus possesses an array of special abilities tied to his true origins. The stunning yet deadly landscapes pose unique challenges that will test and strengthen the bond between our heroes.

Upgrade your weapons and hunting tools, including a lightning-fuelled gauntlet and unlock new perks along the way. Battle alone or with a friend in co-op, evolve and take down the supernatural hordes.

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is a complete overhaul of the popular battle royale bringing a new map, weapons and vehicles to PC and consoles. Warzone 2.0 is built from the ground up utilising next-gen hardware with a design and structure that ties into the narrative of Modern Warfare II. Players battle simultaneously across a brand-new map called ‘Al Mazrah,’ which features coastal towns, depots, desert, rocky peaks, subterranean spaces, industrial areas and a massive metropolitan city. Al Mazrah is described as immense, dynamic and rewarding.

Veteran players can expect enhancements to vehicles, combat, aquatic traversal and a DMZ mode which is all about choosing your own experience within the shared world. Call of Duty Warzone is free to play, and you can see it in action by skipping to the 1:50 mark in the trailer above.

4. The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me

A group of documentary filmmakers receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes ‘Murder Castle.’ It’s an opportunity that’s too good to pass up. But things aren’t quite as they seem. The crew discover they’re being watched and manipulated, and suddenly there’s much more at stake than ratings!

The Devil in Me is the latest entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, a series of cinematic horror experiences where all playable characters can live or die based on your actions. Players fight and solve puzzles attempting to survive the ‘killing rooms’ created by a monster hellbent on becoming America’s deadliest serial killer. Endure the terrifying tests alone, or play with up to five friends to see if safety in numbers can make a difference. Whichever way you prefer, we’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the latest games from this ever-popular Nintendo franchise. This time around, you’re journeying through the Paldea region, setting out from an academy unique to your game version with branching storylines for you to complete as you see fit. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet offer new co-op features, including open-world exploration with a friend, Tera Raid Battles for up to four players, and picnic parties if they’re your kind of thing.

6. Sonic Frontiers

Sonic the Hedgehog scores an open-world adventure that looks to shake up the franchise (hopefully for the better). In addition, there’s a new battle system with moves including dodges, parries, counters and combos, which are complemented by skill tree upgrades.
