Brain puzzles have been around for a long time without any real new additions. Until now.
The Craighill Venn Puzzle Desk Toy requires a great deal of dexterity. Even though it seems simple—it’s three identical stainless steel pieces that fit together to make a ball—it’s not a simple puzzle to solve. All together, the ball weighs 1 pound 10 ounces and measures 2.25 inches in diameter (about the same size as a pool ball).
The interior of the die-cast parts features a pebbled texture, while the exterior has a satin finish. Assembling the puzzle requires precisely aligning six different points—hence the difficulty. When it does all come together, you’ll hear a satisfying click. For an added challenge, you can pair the Venn Puzzle with the Jack Puzzle.
Based in Brooklynn, Craighill is a design company founded by Hunter Craighill in 2015. The company produces a variety of objects, each of which was designed for a distinct and unique use. Craighill is driven by personal curiosity, industrial experimentation, and basic utility—all of which are evident in the Venn Puzzle.
The Venn Puzzle sells for USD$95 normally, but you can get better pricing by visiting their Kickstarter page.
