Gaze into the murky depths of the controller’s deep purple translucent design, adorned with laser etched barnacles, one treasured golden trigger, and at its centre, a haunting mysterious skull that glows at sundown.

Like all wireless Xbox One controllers, this special edition beauty has textured grips, responsive thumbsticks and an enhanced D-pad for added comfort and performance. Microsoft encourages custom button mapping and supports compatible headsets with a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Bluetooth is also supported for playing, plundering and pillaging on Windows 10 PCs and tablets. The Xbox Wireless Controller – Sea of Thieves Limited Edition is available now for RRP $99.95

If you’ve missed the Sea of Thieves hype, it’s an upcoming online multiplayer game where you join a crew of like-minded scoundrels to sail the open seas, drink, loot and fight your way to pirate glory. It’s the newest game from legendary studio Rare – the developers behind Nintendo 64 classics like Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark.
