Play As RoboCop and the Joker in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath

Last night, Netherrealm game studios released the much-anticipated gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath and, god damn, it’s everything we wanted and more. The soon to be released expansion DLC, Mortal Kombat: Aftermath features a fresh set of faces to play with and, inevitably, impale with spikes.

Most notably, RoboCop joins the kombatants determined to uphold the law and protect the innocent in the best way that he knows how. If we’re to believe the trailer, this generally involves karate-chopping his opponents in half or shooting them with a 50 Cal. sniper. The trailer features him shooting the hands of The Joker and looking absolutely badass after blowing apart Baraka with a well-aimed grenade.

If you’re not great with blood, this might be one to skip. Sticking to what they know best, the update promises equal parts frantic button mashing and delightfully abhorrent gore with a whole new set of brutalities and finishers. From spinal cords being ripped out to crushing your opponent with an arcade machine, it really couldn’t get any better.

Joining RoboCop is the God of Wind, Fujian, and a four-armed amazonian warrior woman named Sheeva that is anything but ‘armless… crickets… And. whilst they both look equally as fun characters to flesh out, Sheeva seems to have a particular penchant for squashing enemies, and it’s definitely doing something for me.
