2022 Marvel Phase 4: Schedule, Shows, Release Dates
Fresh off the back of its three-pronged hero epic Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios has dished out the goods, unveiling the full release schedule for Phase 4 of its Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Building on the incredible lineage of big-name blockbusters, 2022 will mark a host of unknown characters added to the mix, including She-Hulk and Moon Knight, alongside some familiar favourites in a multiverse of new adventures.
Unsurprisingly, Marvel’s long and storied connection with Disney+ will see a number of new series added to the streaming service. The second season of the animated hypothetical adventures series What If…? will land this year, with a new The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special also set to make its debut, presumably a little further down the line. According to reports, the theatrical releases will introduce an ‘otherworldly element’, taking a more supernatural and galactic approach, which follows the ambitious storylines set up by the earlier phases in the MCU.
