ABC Reporter Does Full Live Television Cross Without Pants On

ABC News reporter Will Reeve has forged a career in the shadows of his late father and Superman star Christopher, but on Tuesday he stepped into the limelight, but not as he’d hoped. Appearing from his home for a live cross on Good Morning America, Reeve looked the part. Sharp hair, nice suit, shirt buttoned-up firm, but below the belt there were problems. Towards the end of his segment about pharmacies using drones to deliver prescriptions to patients, Reeve shifted slightly on his chair, revealing that he was, in fact, pantless.

Look, it’s unfair to come down on Reeve too hard. We’ve all made the mistake of not getting fully dressed for our Zoom meetings, but then again, our meetings aren’t getting broadcast live on national television. Nevertheless, Reeve saw the funny side of it, posting a response on Twitter.

“Trying to be efficient I got ready for a post-GMA workout a little too soon this morning,” he wrote. “The camera angle, along with friends, family, and several hundred strangers on the social media made me rethink my morning routine. Any sartorial tips from these people who are wearing a belt, trousers and shoes during their work video calls at home are most welcome. Now, back to work. Wearing pants.”

A classy response to a not so-classy act. We’re not sure what we love more; the fact that he owned up to the no-pants gaffe, or that he calls it ‘the social media’.
