Unfortunately, trouble follows the Spitzes wherever they go. According to the synopsis, the groom is kidnapped for ransom soon after the festivities begin, and everyone from the glamorous guests to the family members and the bride herself are all suspects. This is exactly what Nick and Audrey have been waiting for – a high-stakes case that could finally make their detective agency successful. And as a bonus, they’ll finally get to take the long-awaited trip to Paris they’ve always dreamed of.

In the 2019 original film Murder Mystery, the Spitzes embark on a European vacation in hopes of reinvigorating their marriage. Little did they know, their trip would take a turn for the worse when they were wrongly accused of killing a wealthy businessman. This unexpected development sets off a thrilling and humorous journey to clear their names and uncover the real murderer. The movie was a huge success, racking up over 30 million views in its first three days on Netflix and becoming the most popular release of the year, with only Stranger Things 3 coming in a close second.

Directed by Jeremy Garelick, the sequel is packed with an all-star cast. Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani, and Dany Boon all join Sandler and Aniston for the wild ride.

So buckle up, grab some popcorn, and get ready for a some more on-screen chemistry between two of Hollywood greats. Nick and Audrey are back, and they’re ready to solve their next case. Murder Mystery 2 lands on Netflix March 31, 2023.
