Best New Movie Trailers – November 2021
It’s official. We still have trailer fever. There’s no doubt about it. In a world where Apple TV+ & foot rubs are the new norm, and enticing us to go out and catch a flick is getting harder; a trailer can lead a film to global success or be the catalyst for missing its mark at the box office. As a result, we’ve seen an unprecedented effort put into the crafting of spine-tingling teasers and tantalising trailers. But the fact remains – not all trailers are made equal.
Here at Man of Many, we know trailers, man. Whether it’s Channing Tatum taking a sensual bath with a canine in ‘DOG’ or Tom Holland getting close to growing his sixth moustache hair in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ – if the trailer’s red-hot, we’ll have a gander and let you know about it. So without further ado, here is a list of the Best New Movie trailers that dropped in November 2021.

Encounter Official Trailer
Prime once again is proving that less new content is more. We’re looking at you, Netflix – with your ‘greenlight everything, one of them is sure to be a hit’ policy. Encounter appears to be a tight psychological thriller, serving up hearty portions of military ‘Ooh-rah!’ and human themes like family and collectivism. Starring the wonderful Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal), this is one Encounter we look forward to having – in our underwear, on the couch with a cold one in hand.
THE OUTFIT Official Trailer
From the writer of The Imitation Game comes a new thriller in which an expert tailor must outwit a dangerous group of mobsters in order to survive a fateful night. At first glance you might question the box office potential of a film like this – however, after years of Marvel films that’re focus-grouped to the point where Scorsese doesn’t consider them films, and rather ‘theme parks’, there may just be a turn of the tide on the horizon. Real cinema, we’ve missed you.
American Underdog Official Trailer
For a film that is so patriotic that it just might be the love child of a bald eagle and a Denny’s restaurant, American Underdog looks pretty darn good. Starring Zachary Levi, Anna Paquin, and Dennis Quaid, it tells the true story of Kurt Warner’s unlikely and desperate rise to his potential – it’s also an ode to the history and spirit of American football. One that might just be told well enough to draw in audiences with no interest in the sport of kick, tackle, and yee-haw.
Dog Official Trailer
Channing Tatum bonding with a dog. ‘KA-CHING!’ bellowed the head of MGM Studios. ‘Can they not get along at first and then develop an everlasting bond that transcends even the most cynical of viewer expectations? And can we throw in a road trip so that the heartland of America’s bible belt have no choice but to don their best cowboy hats and take their horses to the ride-in multiplex?’.
‘Of course, master!’ cried the screenwriter, rubbing his ink-stained hands together and shuffling his legs to hide his greed-induced erection under the conference table.
‘Of course!’
Spider-Man: No Way Home Official Trailer
So apparently, the studio is planning another three spider-man movies after this. And whilst we’re big fans of Holland and his particular brand of earnest heroism, this shameless cash-grab is insulting to audiences. We already know that too much of a good thing is a very real problem – Marvel’s Eternals proved that. So whilst this movie appears to be pretty kickass, a word of warning: it might be the last decent Spiderman story for the next few years. So cherish it, before the film-slingers at Disney turn the spidey-series into the next big Marvel villain of note.
Downton Abbey: A New Era Teaser Trailer
For those that have secretly watched the first few seasons until a certain character passed away, leaving you empty inside with no appetite for tea, scones or the like – Downton Abbey: A New Era may feel like a large jump in time. This will be a middling film to be sure, but for the avid, it’s one that will shamelessly service your enthusiasm with easter eggs, references to past episode arcs, and new happenings that just simply wouldn’t be possible without a studio film budget. Fingers crossed the following sequel doesn’t go the way of Sex & The City 2: where the human barn owl ‘Lady Mary’ visits Dubai and unintentionally pours hot tea into the crotch of the sultan; and in a desperate attempt to clean his billowing pants, accidentally jacks him off to completion.
