Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen Take a Swing at Each Other in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Preview

Giving the people what they want, Disney+ has released a sneak peek of their upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Set 10 years after the notorious battle in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the Lucasfilm production follows Kenobi’s ongoing struggle with Anakin Skywalker as he descends into Darth Vader.

While the preview didn’t offer any footage from the series, concept art shows Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) taking a good old-fashioned swing at each other. Director Deborah Chow then describes the dark times facing the last remaining Jedi before announcing Hayden Christensen’s return and then teases an epic lightsaber battle between the master and his former padawan.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to hit the Disney+ streaming platform in 2022. May the force be with you.
