The New Jackass Trailer Dropped and it’s Perfectly Idiotic

The Jackass crew is reuniting for more wild stupidity, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Looking slightly weathered and starting to grey, the team appears ready to push the envelope even further in the new trailer for their fourth movie, Jackass Forever.

The flick, due to hit Aussie cinemas on October 21, will be the franchise’s latest film in more than 10 years after Jackass 3D in 2010. Directed by co-creator Jeff Tremaine, the original cast will return with all your favourites, including Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Jason “Wee Man” Acua, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacyr. Plus, new members like Odd Future founder Jasper Doplhin, Sean McInery and Zach Holmes. Unfortunately, one of the stunt show’s most revered characters, Bam Margera, won’t be making an appearance.

In a number of videos on his personal Instagram account, Margera claimed he’d been axed from the production of Jackass Forever. “‘Jackass’ does not care about me. Understand that, ladies and gentlemen …” Margera said in the video. He went on to claim, “It was like my family, it won’t let me in because they say I’m out there being a jackass on TMZ. So I can’t be in ‘Jackass’ because I’m out there being a jackass?”

That aside, the new trailer is packed with all the trademark absurdity we’ve come to love as Jackass fans. The opening stunt features Johnny Knoxville being shot out of a cannon as he attempts to fly through the air with a giant pair of wings. The trailer then teases toilet explosions, furniture store mayhem, and celebrity cameo chaos with rapper Machine Gun Kelly and comedian Eric Andre. However, the biggest revelation was another classic prank on McGhehey, who finds himself covered in honey and salmon, only to find himself locked in a room with a hungry bear.
