Picking up directly after Season 3, the trailer shows the immediate moments following the shock death of cartel lawyer Helen Pierce in Mexico. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in June 2020 that Ozark will end with a 14-episode final season, split into two parts. Yet to release an exact date, in the past, Netflix has left Ozark announcements very close to the actual airing date. Between seasons 1 and 2, there was a 13-month gap, followed by a 19-month gap between seasons 2 and 3, making it difficult to predict when season 4 will drop.
