Batman Robert Pattinson

Twilight Hunk Robert Pattinson Turns Serial Killer for Adam McKay’s New Netflix Flick

It was inevitable that Robert Pattinson would eventually be cast as a serial killer, given his dark and mysterious Jeffrey Dahmer-like aura. His portrayal would undoubtedly be convincing and alluring, as our society has a strange obsession with sexy murderers.

The talented filmmaker Adam McKay is teaming up with Netflix to bring this long-awaited wish in the form of his latest film, Average Height, Average Build, which is described as an “allegorical dramedy.” The story follows a serial killer (played by Pattinson) who ventures into politics with the aim of making laws more accommodating for murderers. Adding to the excitement, Robert Downey Jr. will also be joining the Twilight star on-screen for the project.

Deadline first reported the news saying, “Pattinson will play a serial killer who enlists a lobbyist (Adams) to change laws that will allow him to get away with murder more easily. Downey’s role is a retired cop who won’t give up on the murders, and the killer tries to prevent him from dogging his trail now that he’s hung up his gun. The serial killer turns himself into a cause celebre, a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington figure shielding his true motives.”

McKay has established a reputation for his exceptional writing skills, which earned him an Oscar for his work on The Big Short. More recently, he penned the script for Netflix’s Don’t Look Up, which featured renowned actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. The film proved to be a massive success, debuting as the streamer’s second-most-watched movie during its first weekend, following only the action-comedy Red Notice, starring The Rock and Ryan Reynolds.

The cast for the upcoming flick starring Pattinson and Downey Jr. will feature several big names, including Amy Adams, Forest Whitaker, and Danielle Deadwyler. Keep an eye out for Netflix’s announcement of the release date of Average Height, Average Build.
