In your daily dose of feel-good news, its come to our attention that TV medical dramas have been donating their prop masks, gowns, and other doctory stuff to local hospitals. Fox’s super-popular TV Drama, “The Resident”, gave boxes of personal protective equipment to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital last Wednesday.
“Thank you for this incredibly generous donation of #PPE from your set, including gowns, masks, gloves, and all the things our healthcare workers need to provide safe care for our community during #COVID19,” Dr. Karen Law, a rheumatologist at the hospital, wrote on Instagram.
We’re seeing gestures such as this echoed from other shows such as the ABC’s “The Good Doctor” and The “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff “Station 19” which have been donating their props to local hospitals and fire departments.
If that doesn’t give you a warm fuzzy feeling, I don’t know what will.
