Earlier this week we got our look at the first trailer for the upcoming movie ‘The French Dispatch’. In what will be his first live-action film since ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ way back in 2014, Wes Anderson has not strayed from his inimitable style. Swimming in symmetry, distinct colour palettes and tracking shots – ‘The French Dispatch’ will bring to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.
The all-star class will be led by Benicio del Toro, Francis McDormand and Timothée Chalamet. But, you’ll be sure to recognise the faces of Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Adrien Brody, and of course Anderson’s main-stays, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson.
There’s still very little known about the film at this stage, but The French Dispatch is due for release on 24 July this year.
