Recently enough, the Twitter page for You revealed a new motion poster for the upcoming season that gives us a glimpse of where things are headed for Joe and the series. In the new poster, we see Joe Goldberg going full undercover and embracing a new alias. You season four will see Joe moving to the other side of the pond aka Europe and taking on the new identity of Jonathan Moore, who happens to be a professor. Hmm…

In the poster, Badgley’s latest alias, Moore, can be seen flaunting a beard and a jacket, while the blurry background reveals to us the show’s new location with the help of the UK’s iconic Union Jack bunting and red double-decker buses. The image’s caption reads: “Emotional baggage for Jonathan Moore is waiting at the claim,” alluding to all the new risks and troubles the new city has in store for our Joe.

Just to jog your memories, season three of You ended in quite a dramatic fashion, with Joe eventually murdering his wife Love Quinn and fleeing their burning house. To make it look like he died in the fire too and drive the police off his back, Joe chopped off his two toes and left them in the house.

With his old life now up in flames, Joe fled to Paris to follow his next true love/companion, who happens to be librarian Marienne Bellamy. But as it happens some things just never change. You season four will reboot Joe’s new life in Paris and show us what extreme lengths our protagonist will go to this time, to win over his love Marienne (Tati Gabrielle). However, as we all know now, things won’t be that easy for Joe, as he seems to have found another love interest in the new city in the form of Charlotte Ritchie’s Kate. Besides these three, You season four will even include Lukas Gage, Tilly Keeper, Adam James, Ed Speelers, Amy Leigh-Hickman, Sean Pertwee, Brad Alexander, Stephen Hagan, Aidan Cheng, Ben Wiggins and Ozioma Whenu.
