The November 28th event was a spectacle unlike anything celebrity boxing had ever seen. When perceived under-dog Paul knocked out the 13-year NBA Veteran Nate Robinson, it sent shockwaves through the NBA landscape with players such as Steph Curry taking the mickey out of poor Nate.

In addition to owning the digital collectible from the famous celebrity boxing event, the buyer will receive a custom 1-of-1 NFT that will feature the final 30 seconds of the scheduled April 17th boxing match between Jake Paul and Ben Askren.

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ll understand that NFT’s are the ‘it’ investment opportunity right now. Think of them as digital collectibles (similar to pokemon cards) but they’re built into blockchain technology to ensure they’re as ‘real’ as it gets. The hype train is real too, with some tokens fetching almost $70 million at auction!

Just like their real-life counterparts you can buy and sell NFT’s, but you still won’t own the copyright or intellectual property… Makes heaps of sense, right? If not, check out our article on NBA Top Shot for an in-depth analysis of digital collectibles.
