As catastrophic bush fires sweep the east coast, one well known Aussie has joined the thousands already raising money for the Bushfire Appeal by auctioning off a prized possession. Sporting legend and King of Spin Shane Warne is auctioning his Baggy Green cap. In the first few hours of bidding, Warnie has so far raised over $300k for the fire victims.
This highly sought after item was worn throughout Warne’s 145-match Test career for Australia where he took 708 wickets. The item comes with an autographed certificate of authenticity by Warne. 100% of proceeds from this online auction will be donated to the Bushfire Appeal.
