Of course you know Steph Curry for his dominance on the basketball court, but he’s also pretty handy on the golf course, where he brings his trademark intensity and accuracy into play. Curry is partnering with Under Armour to put out a golf collection that brings his style and personality onto the greens. Called “Range Unlimited,” the collection was debuted at Mission Hills Resort in Shenzhen, China.
“I wanted to try to blend my personality, my joy, my style off the court into a golf capsule,” states Curry. “When you look good, you feel good and you play good golf.” The collection encompasses a full suite of golf products, from shoes to hats. In total, there are 14 pieces, including tops, bottoms, outerwear, hats, and the Curry 6 SL golf shoe.
Under Armour employed their Iso-Chill technology for the items, which will help keep you cool and dry even in hot and humid conditions. If things get a little windy and wet, the Range Unlimited Storm Wind Jacket will keep you playing.
The golf shoes of the collection are based on the Curry 6 basketball shoe, adding in a spikeless version of Under Armor’s Rotational Resistance outsole. Prices for the collection start at USD$30 for the hats and range up to $95 to $100 for the outerwear. The shoes come in at $160. The collection will be available Fall of 2019 in Under Armor Brand Houses and on UA.com.
“You want to be able to make bold statements with some loud prints,” states Curry of the line. “It has the performance technology with Iso-Chill that makes you feel cool out there on the course. There is always a performance element to making athletes better and that is what we do at Under Armour, so blending those two perspectives was what made this capsule different from anything else you’ve seen.”
