Skating legend Tony Hawk has confirmed he’s still the coolest guy around, taking to a real-life version of the iconic Warehouse level from his 1999 game Pro Skater 1. The 52-year-old hit the park to celebrate the release of the remastered Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 collection, which sees the nostalgic game thrust back into the spotlight for a whole new generation of shredders.

It’s awesome to see Hawk back in action. Ever since we learned the fan-favourite games were being remastered, we’ve been brimming with anticipation to play the classic areas. The skateboarding icon’s new clip is only helping to prep us for a big summer of pop-shovits and impossibles.

The good news is, the hype appears to be warranted. Aside from the nostalgia aspect, the early reviews have shown the remastered version of the game is a winner. Forbes even gave the new remake a 9.5/10 rating, describing the level of detail and graphical fidelity as “just insane”.
