Nike’s newest footwear release the Air Mariah Flyknit proves that the 80s never really went out of fashion. Back in 1988, Nike launched the Air Mariah, a design that took cushioning to a whole new level and introduced us to the classic white, blue and infared colourway. Now, almost 30 years later, the Air Mariah Flyknit evolves the original creation and takes full advantage of Nike’s modern performance technology.
Still built for speed, the sneaker has an updated focus on wearability and comfort. There’s an adaptive Flyknit bootie upper for ease of wear, Brio cables for a secure fit and responsive Air Zoom cushioning to reduce impact from daily wear. Additionally, original design lines pay homage to its iconic beginnings.
If you’re looking for a new pair of runners and refuse to forget hair metal and Knight Rider, The Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit will be available from June 22.
