The Chuck Taylor All-Star is an iconic shoe with a rich history in sports, fashion and even pop culture. So, for the first time in almost 100 years, Converse did the impossible and redesigned the classic sneaker dubbing it “The Chuck Taylor All Star II.” But how does the sequel pair up? Since Converse is officially under Nike Inc. the All-Star II features innovative technology from the brand that features a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, foam padding on the collar, a micro-suede liner for breathability and non-slip padded tongue. Scheduled to hit shelves July 28th, the Chuck Taylor All Star II’s will sell for $75 in it’s hightop form and $70 in the low “ox” build.
