The G-STEEL Street Vintage Collection is Stylish and Durable

By in Fashion, Watches on

Want a watch that is affordable and tough? While fine for a day of mountain biking, most rugged, durable watches are not exactly suit worthy. Casio just introduced a new series of watches that are both stylish and extremely durable. The new G-STEEL Street Vintage Style Collection, available this March, combine the look of quality leather with tough-as-nails durability. The more stylish look makes these watches perfect for everyday use.

There will be four new Street Vintage Style watches released this year. Three feature the tough leather band in different shades. While the fourth is a black IP model that has a stainless steel band rather than a leather one.

All of the G-SHOCK G-STEEL Street Vintage Collection watches feature a durable leather band, aptly named Tough Leather. In addition, an impact resistant inner resin layer and a tough stainless steel body help ensure that these watches will hold up over the years. They have been designed to withstand scratches and scruffs, which helps them maintain a nice, refined look even after quite a bit of use.

One of the best features of the G-STEEL watches are the fact that they are powered by solar energy. Thanks to this feature, you don’t have to worry about the battery ever running down. The solar panel converts even weak fluorescent lighting into electric power. The rechargeable battery features a large power storage capacity that supports the watch’s various functions.

G-STEEL watches are both shock and 200M water resistant. They feature a countdown timer, five daily alarm with snooze feature, LED light, stopwatch and both 12 and 24 hour format.
