Aside from selling tasty burgers and fries, McDonald’s has seen massive success from executing brand partnerships with iconic pop culture figures. In the past, the popular fast food chain has worked with musicians such as Saweetie, BTS, Kid Cudi and Travis Scott for special meal projects. Now, they’re turning their attention to the streetwear world via a new collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market.
On Tuesday, the golden arches, in combination with the apparel company, revealed a more mature version of the Happy Meal. It features a limited edition box design that includes either a classic Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a drink and a side of fries. In addition to the grub, customers will also find a special collectible of either Birdie the Early Bird, Hamburglar, Grimace or Cactus Buddy, all of which have been reimagined by CPFM with a doubled-up set of eyes.
For those who want to get in on the fun without consuming the calories, there will also be a few items of merch up for grabs, which will launch in tandem with the meal box. Fashion and fast food lovers can expect the limited edition collaboration to be available in participating McDonald’s locations starting on October 3 2022, with the clothing collection only available during a particular time slot on the CPFM x McDonald website.
