Well known for his nomadic fashion choices JW Anderson has been thrown the keys to the MONCLER design studio once again to collaborate with the brand on a range of adventurous pieces incorporating colour, texture, and technical fabrics. The collection walks that fine abstract fashion line we’ve come to expect from MONCLER, and Anderson’s choice to explore his own British roots is immediately obvious. Quilting, sailing, and expressions of heritage are the basis for a well-rounded collection that adds to both parties’ fashion lineages. Let’s check it out.
Lifestyle images above and below indicate a gender-fluid collection as we’ve come to expect from JW Anderson. Attention should be given to the details, eyelets and tri-stitching found on sailing apparel across a range of parkas, field jackets, Bermudas and cargo pants, but also jersey t-shirts and sweatshirts. Sustainable pieces made from Econyl fabric are available in a colour block jacket, a dégradé vest, a pair of trousers and one of the Bermuda shorts.
The background theme for the collection is Northern Island and sunsets are clearly transformed onto the long jersey t-shirts, dresses, and anoraks offering a taste with faded hues. Our favourite pieces have to be the quilted long coat, cropped jacket, and range of tops and culottes, Chelsea boots, and finally, cordura totes.
As always 1 MONCLER JW ANDERSON will be available in Moncler boutiques, moncler.com and in selective wholesale networks worldwide from June 9th, 2022. Campaign imagery can be seen below.
