Arx Weekender is designed to last. The interior is made entirely from strengthened, durable microfiber leather. The most crucial part, the base, is fortified to protect your belongings. The studs underneath are bolstered at each corner for elevation to keep the bag away from damp and wet surfaces. The outer material is ultra-dense ripstop that envelopes everything within.
Beyond its premium build, the Arx Weekender is also incredibly functional. Meaning, there are plenty of pockets to separate items. One end has a waterproof footwear chamber featuring perforated air holes to ventilate running shoes or even a sweaty gym towel. Basically, this pocket is quarantine for the items that need to be excluded from the rest.
The outside is also fitted with a quick access pocket with double zips on the side that rests closest to your body, ensuring it’s only accessible to you.
The interior features a laptop pocket that supports devices up to 15-inches and it’s secured by an exclusive zipper to prevent your hardware from moving around. There’s also a hidden passport pocket with RFID-lining to prevent anyone from accessing your identity. It sucks that this is a reality, but it’s easily managed with the Arx Weekender.
Making up the remainder of the pockets is a small interior section with a zippered opening and exterior notebook holder. And, of course, there’s the main compartment for all your clothing and additional accessories.
The Arx Weekender measures in at 55cm long, 20cm deep and 40cm high. The bag weighs 1kg and has a capacity of 45L. Carry options include rounded, ergonomic handles that evenly distribute weight across the bag and a shoulder strap with cushioned shoulder pad.
The Arx Weekender is available in a stealthy classic black and a distinct crimson ruby red. You can’t quite get your hands on one yet as its makers London-based brand Azcoe is still raising funds via Kickstarter. Their set goal is already met, so the Weekender is now set for a December 2019 release, meaning there should be time to gift one at Christmas.
