The latest bag from Melbourne brand Bellroy is a minimalist sling that keeps your hands free and pockets light. Bellroy elevates the sling experience in the only way it knows – By using premium water-resistant materials and packing the slim design with enough function that it allows you to move freely through busy streets and crowded airports.
The Bellroy Sling expands as it’s filled, then self-compresses when carried light. A magnetic clasp on the strap makes it easy to clip off and on, plus the versatile design means you can carry it three separate ways. Wear the bag flush on your front, loose on your back, or just throw it over a shoulder when in a hurry.
Within, a soft-lined internal pocket keeps a phone or glasses scratch-free, plus a key clip and a separate front pocket offer partitioned organisation. Bellroy says the Sling is an extremely adaptable bag, designed for roaming about.
“Slings excel in moments when pockets aren’t enough, and a full-sized bag is overkill,” said Bellroy designer, Sheena Denmead.
Bellroy wasn’t satisfied with the designs of other slings, finding that most fall short on user-friendly function. “We’ve added some handy features to the sling form, to help make the experience better again.”
Like all Bellroy bags, the sling is made with sustainably produced non-toxic fabric and environmentally certified leather highlights that are designed to look better with age. A three-year warranty backs up its quality construction.
The Bellroy Sling comes in four different colours – Black, Ink Blue, Mid Grey and Neon Cabernet. It’s available now and priced at $129AUD.
