MJ Bale Has Your Seasonal Wardrobe Sorted
Australian gentlemen’s outfitter MJ Bale has released its Autumn/Winter 2019 collection of menswear, which re-introduces single-source Kingston suits traceable to a fifth generation farm in Tasmania, as well as new single-region knitwear from the nearby Midlands.
Transitioning the businessman from high summer to autumn are lightweight merino wool and textured three-piece flannel suits, as well as trans-seasonal linen blazers and a refresh of easy-care non-iron ‘Dry’N’Fly shirts.
A new Opera capsule collection is inspired by the costumes worn by the great operatic tenors. The capsule includes rich opulent single and double-breasted velvet jackets, as well as soft, water-repellent corduroy suits and jackets in blue, white and red.
Essential layering pieces include sporty woollen coats, cashmere scarves and beanies, knitted jackets, gilets, printed and flannel shirts, denim jeans and corduroy chinos. Plus, new suede loafers in navy, taupe and brown lets the MJ Bale man kick up his heels in style.
“We work at the grassroots level with the finest Australian woolgrowers to hand-select the best raw materials in the world,” explains Matt Jensen, MJ Bale Founder & CEO.
“We then collaborate with centuries-old weavers and knitters in northern Italy to apply the latest innovations and create high-quality fabrics that are water-repellent, crease-resistant and woven with a natural stretch. These fabrics are crafted to become soft, deconstructed garments that deliver comfort, functionality and elegance — the tailoring version of peak performance.”
