Bondi’s Pacifico Optical has dropped a new range of shades right in time for the Australian summer. Wear a pair of these beauties to the beach they’re inspired by or anywhere else in the world for an instant dose of fashion meets premium function.
The latest South shades are named after the southern side of Bondi and are shaped after a pilot style frame. South 2 is slightly larger than the original and features a flat two base lens. The frames use a floating stainless steel nose bridge and are hand-assembled with a shiny gold finish. South 2 is available in vintage gold with green or polarised aqua lenses.
Initially developed in collaboration with The Yacht Week, the Yacht Master is a classic unisex frame. It’s perfect for adventures on the high seas and includes Carl Zeiss Vision Polarised lenses to ensure clarity is optimised on the water. This frame features a signature keyhole nose bridge and five joint rivet hinges. They are hand polished and hand assembled with a glossy acetate finish. The Yacht Master is now available in champagne with brown lenses and leopard print with blue lenses.
The last of the new frames is named after Dover Heights, the suburb edging on North Bondi. The Dover is a metal round style frame. Its hand assembled and features a shiny gold finish and a stylish flat lens. You can grab a pair of Dover frames in rose gold with gold lenses, vintage gold with green lenses or vintage gold with polarised aqua lenses.
Each pair of Pacifico Optical glasses come with a free carry case, microfiber cloth and maintenance and cleaning kit. You can find more images of the new frames below and be sure to visit the website for a complete rundown on fit and each frame’s technical detailing.
