Bondi eyewear label Pacifico Optical is taking on shareholders in a bid to raise capital and expand its stunning eyewear to a global market.
The popular homegrown brand (and a favourite of Man of Many), is launching a crowdfunding campaign with leading platform Equitise to raise $500,000 to fuel its next stage of growth. With the capital raised, Pacifico Optical plans to further develop prescription eyewear, roll out more brick and mortar stores, create a female-focused line and expand further into the US.
You can own a piece of the growing eyewear label and invest in its future for as little as $250.00. The US market is 73 million times larger than Australia. That’s a lot of untapped potential.
To date, Pacifico Optical has sold over 9000 pairs of glasses to customers across 56 countries. The glasses and sunglasses are highly affordable and are made from the finest quality materials sourced around the globe. We’re talking Mazzucchelli and Japanese Daicel acetate frames and Carl Zeiss lenses.
In June of this year, the brand experienced a significant turning point signing a contract with the online marketplace The Iconic, adding to an impressive list of online retailers including Amazon and Huckberry.
Also, Pacifico has run several successful pop-ups and partnered with Man of Many for a limited edition range of eyewear. The brand is featured in the likes of Monocle, GQ, Vogue, Men’s Style, Men’s Health and MR PORTER as well as worn by Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth.
Co-Founder of Equitise, Chris Gilbert welcomed Pacifico Optical Founder Alain Guglielmino and his team into the fold and is thrilled to have such an impressive brand on the platform.
“We’re really looking forward to sharing the Pacifico Optical investment opportunity with our Equitise database and have been working with the team for months to get this offer ready for market,” he said.
“Pacifico Optical is an early-stage business that with the right injection of investment can grow its business and begin to ramp up further strategies to become a household name in Australia.”
