Luxury and sustainability collide on this month’s instalment of MR PORTER Finds. The retail hub is helping lead the charge toward an eco-friendly and socially conscious future and that starts with the products they offer through their platform (and through their own label, Mr P.). Many fall under the Craftsmanship Code, which focuses on brands that make positive contributions to their local communities and the planet alike. Let’s see what’s in store, shall we?

11.11/eleven eleven Kino Unstructured Cotton Blazer
Crafted from pure cotton, this unstructured blazer delivers prime comfort, breathability, and style during the warmer seasons. It comes to us from clothing brand 11.11/eleven eleven, who are well-known for their conscious use of indigenous fabrics and 100% natural dyes. Just one look and you’ll know if it’s the garment for you.
SSAM Recycled Cotton and Cashmere-Blend Jersey Hoodie
SSAM constructed this monochromatic hoodie from GRS-certified recycled loopback cotton-jersey, with a touch of cashmere for added softness. Match it with a host of get-ups and behold its plush feel. Like a number of products on the list, this one makes up part of MR PORTER’s Small World collection, which highlights global brands that put people and the planet first.
John Smedley John Slim-Fit Striped Merino Wool Sweater
Equal parts slim, stylish, and lightweight, John Smedley’s self-titled sweater is also quite comfortable. What else would you expect from 100% merino wool? The brand has been operating out of the same Derbyshire facility since 1784 so it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing. Once you try this shirt on for size, you’ll readily agree.
Inis Meáin Striped Linen T-Shirt
Here we have another stunning piece from the Small World collection (which thus adheres to MR PORTER’s Craftsmanship Code). Created by Irish knitwear brand Inis Meáin as a breezy counterpart to their iconic fine-gauge sweater, this striped linen shirt offers lightweight comfort and refreshing style. The feel-good vibes are strong on this one.
Mr P. Japanese Organic Cotton-Jersey Sweatshirt
MR PORTER’s in-house label—aka Mr P.—designed this conspicuously clean and effortlessly versatile sweatshirt. It’s cut from a Japanese organic cotton jersey and all the more comfortable as a result. Your smart-casual wardrobe is incomplete without it, especially since it goes with such a wide host of ensembles.
Story Mfg. Grateful Printed Organic Cotton-Jersey T-Shirt
We love the trippy visual motif of this printed organic cotton jersey tee from Story Mfg. As per the brand’s overarching philosophy, it was made using environmentally friendly materials and practices. A psychedelic ‘Tree Time’ graphic drives home the nature-loving vibe. Grateful, indeed.
Nudie Jeans Lean Dean Slim-Fit Organic Jeans
True to form, Nudie’s best-selling Lean Dean Jeans deliver a slim and perfect fit. They’re cut from organic cotton-blend denim with 1% elastane for a touch of stretchy comfort. Thanks to a designer wash known as ‘Indigo Exile,’ the apparel takes on more personality and character over time. Try them on to see what all the fuss is about—you’ll be glad you did.
Post-Imperial Ikeja Cotton Drawstring Trousers
Hailing from the Small World collection, these handcrafted cotton trousers are every bit as stylish and relaxing as they look. Africa-based menswear brand Post-Imperial drew upon the talents of local artisans when bringing them to life. Speaking of artisanship, every single pair features minor tonal nuances and variations. In fact, no two are exactly the same.
Ninety Percent Wide-Leg Organic Cotton-Jersey Drawstring Shorts
Hyper-conscious in more ways than one, Ninety Percent employs organic materials and donates a portion of their profits to charity. Bursting with signature colour, the brand’s wide-leg drawstring shorts are made from soft loopback cotton-jersey fabric. When summer beckons, this apparel quite blatantly heeds the call, presuming you’re a fan of pastel yellow.
Échapper Cotton-Poplin Pyjama Set
This handsome pyjama set from Échapper is woven from traceably sourced Indian Suvin cotton and then botanically dyed. It’s made in Japan (in accordance with the Craftsmanship Code) and executed with absolute precision, hence the tidy proportions and plush comfort. Prepare to feel good on multiple levels.
George Cleverley Colony Full-Grain Suede Loafers
Conscience consumption is key to a sustainable pair of shoes, and George Cleverly’s loafers are a brilliant showcase of British craftsmanship. Hand-stitched in Northampton (home to the country’s shoemaking industry for centuries) and sporting a Goodyear-welted sole means this loafer can be repaired with ease. Adding to the conscience effort is a full-grain suede upper sourced in collaboration with tanneries certified for their practices.
Post-Imperial Beaded Indigo-Dyed Cotton Bucket Hat
There’s nothing not to love about this sustainable summer staple from Post-Imperial. The cotton bucket hat is stripped using an adire resist-dyeing technique – developed by the Yoruba people of Nigeria. A technical accessory by any stretch of the imagination, the artisans treat the cloth at least 25 times to perfect the pattern and hue. Adding to the bold exterior is the embellished Maasai beads.
Peyote Bird Thick Blossom Sterling Silver Cuff
Exclusive to MR PORTER the Peyote Bird’s Sterling Cuff features designs influenced by the flora and fauna of the American Southwest. This particular model recalls thick cactus blooms. Ultimately, we love these pieces for their intricately handmade sterling silver composition. Handywork by Mr Trent Lee-Anderson, a fourth-generation Navajo silversmith.
R+D.LAB Velasca Acqua Set of Two Glasses
Let’s take a short break from apparel to present this elegant set of glasses. Designed with equal emphasis on form and function, these glasses are hand-blown from durable borosilicate glass. Dishwasher safe and packing more style than you’d usually expect from glassware, these are a personal favourite amongst the team here at Man of Many.
