Rihanna Stars in Savage x Fenty Holiday Campaign

The world’s best-loved billionaire is stepping back into the limelight, just in time for the holiday season. Musician-turned-fashion mogul Rihanna has shared a sneak peek of the new holiday campaign collection from her Savage x Fenty lingerie brand. Entitled Tagged By Savage, the new release is certain to turn a few heads this silly season, especially if you find yourself swinging from the chandeliers as Rhi-Rhi does in the latest shoot. Looks like Christmas is coming early.

Taking to Instagram, the Savage x Fenty co-founder shared images of herself in a plum lingerie set, surrounded by sparkling gold accoutrements on either side. In a nod to the new season commencement, Rihanna captioned the photos “holiday szn bout to be Xtra af #TisTheSavage.”

It’s not the first time Rihanna has ushered in the season of giving for Savage x Fenty. Just last year, the pop superstar fronted the Savage X Fenty Holiday advertising campaign, which introduced the brand’s December Xtra Vip Box collection. A starkly more decadent display, the 2020 edition saw Rihanna in a frozen tundra setting, surrounded by indoor ice sculptures and vintage candelabras. The key images highlighted the brand’s limited edition Fine Blue Porcelain Print set, which exploded in popularity immediately upon release.

For this year’s holiday campaign, the Tagged by Savage collection once again offers fans a chance to dive into Savage x Fenty’s exclusive line. An accompanying Xtra VIP Box comes complete with a three-piece set that celebrates the latest designs from Bad Gal Ri-Ri’s incredibly successful label. According to the brand, the new range will also feature a new Tattooed Tricot Collection, a tattoo-inspired collaboration with designer Manuela Soto Sosa.

Since launching in 2018, the Rihanna-led lingerie label has amassed a cult following, and for good reason. Taking a decidedly more inclusive approach to fashion, Savage x Fenty offers pieces for all body shapes and sizes, while the now-iconic campaign images speak to the brand’s acceptance of every body type, sexual orientation, identity or skin colour. With a stunning catalogue of timeless pieces and the ethos to back it up, it seems Rihanna can’t put a foot wrong on the fashion front. The only thing fans need now is new music, but that will have to wait.
