Adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy 750 Boost

Following last month’s release of the Yeezy 350 V2, Adidas and Kanye have released a new 750 Boost in brown. This is the fourth colourway in the 750 range, with a chocolate brown nubuck upper and intriguing glow in the dark gum sole. There really is no stopping the Kanye hype lately as it has been reported that there are more 350’s coming our way later in the month. Kanye looks to be furthering his sneaker legacy and I am excited to see how far him and Adidas go. Like always, the latest 750 release is limited and premium so good luck to those in raffles for a pair!

Vans x Disney Toy story

Woody, Buzz and all their friends have jumped off the silver screen and into a collaboration with Vans. Coming to us in multiple silhouettes, including Sk8 Hi’s and Authentics, the collaboration includes all the famous characters and ‘Andy’ printed on the sole. My personal favourites of the collection are the ‘his and hers’ blue and pink pairs of Authentics featuring a Woody and Bo Peep print. These have not yet surfaced in Australia but we are hopeful they will soon.

Undefeated x Adidas Consortium EQT support ADV

When it comes to collaborating with big sneaker brands very few do it as well as Californian based sneaker store, Undefeated. They have jumped on the Consortium Tour with Adidas to bring us an equipment support that is as clean and premium as it gets. Most noticeable is the off-white three stripes laid atop a matte black neoprene upper, whilst the heel support sports a modest camouflage pattern. Finished with tonal laces and co-branding on the tongue tags, this is another great shoe amongst a stellar line-up on this years Adidas Consortium Tour!

Mita x Asics GT-II ‘Squirrel’

Japanese sneaker lords Mita have jumped on this month’s collaboration bandwagon to bring us a stunning and distinct Asics GT-II. They have taken inspiration from the American rodent the squirrel to deliver a design that features brushed suede in both light and dark brown across the upper. Mita’s has added red and blue colour to the iconic Asics stripes for a pop of colour. The shoes are tied together with rope laces and a signature chain link fence printed on the insole. Grab them from Mita Sneakers.

Jordan 3 Cyber Monday

Jordan 3 releases are few and far between, with it being two years since the last, so it is safe to say that sneaker heads like myself are a little excited about this one! His ‘Airness’ has not disappointed, releasing a stunning premium black leather upper sitting atop a crisp all-white sole with traditional Air Jordan Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. With classy colourways like this Cyber Monday, it is easy to see why Jordan 3’s is consistently one of the most coveted Jordan releases.

Adidas Gazelle Scarlet Red

The Gazelle has been the one of the most abundant Adidas general releases of this year. The Scarlet Red version is just one of many colours and iterations Adidas has released this year. White stripes and sole appear striking against the vibrant scarlet red upper, with the shoe finished with a white tongue, with red Adidas branding and gold embossed Gazelle on the upper.

Jordan XXXI Shattered Backboard

In 1985 while playing in an exhibition game in Italy, Michael Jordan dunked so hard he shattered a backboard. Last year Jordan brand released the Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard and told us all this story of what a young MJ’s dunk could do. This time they have returned with the same colourway but on their newest silhouette, The Jordan XXXI. The upper is a gradient orange to play with the Jumpman logo on the outside of the heel and a swoosh on the side. This eye-catching colourway is sure to get you noticed on or off the court.

Nike Flyknit Racer Platinum / Cool Grey

Since its first release in 2012, the Flyknit Racer has become one of the most popular running silhouettes on the market. Nike’s latest release looks to only increase the Racer’s popularity, with a beautiful inverted colourway. The inside of the shoe has a white swoosh on a dark grey knit while the outside has a dark swoosh on a cool grey knit. Racers are built for comfort when running, with the Air Zoom midsole providing cushioning and Flyknit upper giving a sock-like fit. These are available at Nike stores now and are selling fast online.

Ronnie Fieg x New balance 997.5 Cyclades

I know that both Yeezus and Disney have jumped on collaborations this week but I have to give it to Ronnie Fieg for stealing the show with his latest New Balance 997.5. The man simply doesn’t design bad shoes, drawing inspiration from his last holiday in Mykonos, Greece, to deliver a bright, fresh and premium sneaker. An orange forefoot followed by a beige midfoot symbolizes the umbrellas and soft sand of the Mykonos beaches, with sea foam green detail on the heel, mimicking the waters of the Aegean Sea. The upper is pigskin suede with the 998 Abzord midsole for comfort. These are a US exclusive on Kith NYC’s webstore, so fingers crossed Fieg sends some Australia’s way soon.
