This means brands new season styles have started coming through including the first look at adidas Y-3’s spring summer range and more adidas styles. adidas EQT 93/17 Black/Turbo Red
Following the successful revival of the adidas EQT range a couple of years ago, the style is back and bigger than ever with the introduction of the EQT 93/17. Coming to us with the three stripes signature boost midsole, the 93/17s are a modern take on adidas’ popular Equipment range. The upper is a pixelated knit with embroidered lines on the toe box and premium nubuck quarter panels. Whilst being predominantly black and white, the touch of turbo red on the external heel cage helps the shoe stand out. These were a premium limited release and have since sold out from Adidas Originals and adidas online.
Air Jordan 4 Black/Metallic Gold ‘Royalty’
Michael Jordan is often referred to as basketball and sneaker royalty so it’s no wonder that the latest Air Jordan 4 is dubbed as Royalty. The black upper is luxurious, made from suede and mesh that is accented by gold metallic details on the lace loops. Sitting atop a black and white sole, the shoe is finished with all-gold branding on the tongue and heel. Not neglecting comforting and support, these have the Jordan four’s traditional Air-Sole unit in the heel. These are limited so grab them quick from Nike online and select Jordan retailers.
Karhu Fusion 2.0 Caramel/Aegean blue
Karhu, a Finnish sneaker company, have come to recent popularity due to Kanye wearing their sneakers. The Karhu Fusion 2.0 makes it easy to see why the brand has long been loved by the European sneaker scene. The Fusion 2.0 is an update on the Fusion a popular Karhu running silhouette from the 90s, with the new Caramel and Aegean blue colourway sitting atop a white midsole. The Karhu branding on the tongue and heel is sure to get people talking and have you ahead of the pack so grab these and other colours from Titolo or Karhu online who are now shipping to Australia.
New Balance 997 Jol Off White/Navy
A prominent world leader will be happy to know that New Balance are this week releasing a 997 Made In USA. The 997 in off white and navy is a premium take on a classic New Balance silhouette. The off white suede upper and mesh toe box contrast with a Navy ‘N’ on the Upper and Made in USA branding. These 997s are finished with an ENCAP midsole unit for everyday comfort. Grab these at select New Balance Made retailers such as Kith.
Nike Air Max 95 Essential Triple Grey
They hadn’t been seen in Australia of late, but Nike is sending a few colourways of the classic Air Max 95 our way. The first colourway to hit shelves is a Triple Grey, with an upper is constructed from a mix of leather, synthetic, textile and mesh. This all sits atop the traditional Air Max 95s midsole with visible Air Max cushioning in the forefoot and heel. This is the first Air Max designed by Sergio Lozano and is a classic. Reebok Club C 85 Steel Gum Presented by Kendrick Lamar
Reebok have come at us hard over the past few months with their releases of the Club C. The latest pack of tonal coloured Club C’s may be their best yet. The pack is headlined by a steel grey pair featuring a suede upper and midsole alongside Reeboks go-to gum outsole. The suede is soft and feels plush on the foot and is available at retailers such as Hype DC and Reebok online.
adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged ‘Multicolour’
adidas is on a roll with their release of Ultra Boosts with bank account struggling to have enough funds to keep up. Over the last week adidas have released a bunch of new shoes to the Boost range with the latest multicolour Uncaged being my favourite. The sleek black primeknit upper features red and blue speckles throughout with red and blue speckles whilst the heel cage has silver and gold ultra boost branding. The shoes sit atop what is arguably one of the comfiest midsoles in the market. These are limited but you can still grab pairs online from adidas and other select retailers.
adidas Y-3 Yohji Run Boost
adidas and Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 brand has reached new heights over the past couple of years with new colourways of the Yohji Run Boost being great additions to this growing brand. They have brought us a clean black and white silhouette with a black stretch mesh upper and white three stripes on the side. The shoe has Y-3 branding on a suede heel cap, sitt on top of the comfortable Boost midsole that sneakerheads can’t get enough of at the moment. These will set you back more than most sneakers we preview at around 460 AUD but are worth it due to the detail and quality put into every pair. Grab them at Sneakerboy instore or online.
