Nordic brand ARKK looks set to launch the world’s finest minimalist sneakers by ditching the laces and channelling sleek designs of the future. The latest sneaker is called Hypertrex FG Boa W13. In Australia, you will be able to buy a pair through HYPE DC.
A pair of Hypertrex costs USD $230 and features a knitted sock-like FutureGrid upper along with ARKK’s sculptural Wave13 sole unit. The Boa adaptive click-to-tie system replaces traditional laces. A micro-adjustable dial with quick-release and durable soft nylon wires move along low friction guides of the sneaker’s quarter panel. Hypertrex is available in Midnight Wind Grey and Black Titanium colourways.
“It’s such a clean, functional design,” says Kasper Høj Rasmussen, ARKK Creative Director. “You gotta love that beautiful clicking sound every time you lace up.”
Hypertrex FG BOA W13 is the final instalment of ARKK’s current footwear lineup, signifying that its next-wave of sneakers will aim to disrupt the industry in different ways.
