BAPE Adds Japanese Streetwear Touch to Reebok’s Most Popular Sneakers
White sneakers are a staple addition to any stylish man’s wardrobe and the Reebok Club C has become one of the best. In a bid to keep themselves fresh, sought-after, and stylish the brand has once again teamed up with famous Japanese Streetwear brand A Bathing Ape to work over two models, the aforementioned Club C 85 and Instapump Fury. Employing their traditional BAPE CAMO pattern all over the Instapump, the Club C 85 remains clean and crispy.
Style #: Club C 85 (Q47367), Instapump Fury (Q47370).
ReleaseDate: January 21st 2022
Price: Club C 85 ($220 AUD), Instapump Fury ($300 AUD)
A few key details transform the Reebok heritage shoes into those promised to have sneakerheads lining up everywhere. In our eyes, the collaboration provides sneakerheads with a chance to secure BAPE sneakers at Reebok budgets with most of the BAPE style being kept the same throughout. Most significantly, the Club C 85 shares elements with BAPE’s most famous silhouette the BAPE STA – including details such as Red and blue stitching and the BAPESTA logo along the medial and lateral sides of the shoe.
The Instapump Fury goes all out with a mix of the brands COLOR CAMO and 1st CAMO prints. These prints are most famously found on the Shark Hoodies, and here, they match them with BAPE head logos on the shoe’s signature ‘pump’ located on the tongue just above the laces.
Both the Club C 85 ($220 AUD) and the Instapump Fury ($300 AUD) will be available at reebok.com.au on January 21st 2022. In any case, we recommend pairing these sneakers with BAPE tracksuits just like the photos, courtesy of long time brand collaborator, Ro.Lexx, see below. Our pick of the bunch has to be the Club C 85, but a little BAPE CAMO never goes astray in any streetwear junkies wardrobe, even today.
