No doubt the Louis Vuitton Savoir-Fire event to be held December 3 in the Miami Design District’s Paradise Plaza will come with plenty of interesting pieces. One such piece is the Louis Vuitton OTT Sneaker Trunk. This trunk gives you the perfect way to store your sneaker collection.
The hard-sided cabinet has plenty of space to hold up to six pairs of up to size 13 low-tops and eight pairs of up to size 12 high tops. The cabinet comes with pull out drawers with a clear font branded with Louis Vuitton’s signature pattern for the high tops. The low tops sit in swing out drawers that are incorporated into the trunk’s doors. There are also four more large drawers and three smaller drawers for stowing other items, as well as a flat space to set your shoes or other items on when the trunk is open. There are also customization options available for this trunk. The exterior is done in black with more of Louis Vuitton’s pattern done in grey.
“Combining Louis Vuitton’s classic art of trunk craftsmanship with contemporary design,” states the official description for the trunk, “Louis Vuitton’s Sneaker Trunk is the newest addition to the House’s iconic hard-sided collection. This one-of-a-kind Sneaker Trunk is an emblem of Louis Vuitton’s visionary spirit and heritage craftsmanship.
The Sneaker Trunk is being released to coincide with the first drop of Virgil Abloh’s 480 Global Trainers. These new sneakers will be offered in Seoul, New York, London, Paris, Milan, Chicago, Dubai, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Each location will feature a different color scheme that is meant to represent that particular city.
Louis Vuitton hasn’t released information on how much the OTT Sneaker Trunk will cost, but you can bet that it will be both expensive and well-worth the cost.
