The NBA’s Biggest Sneakerhead is Selling His Collection for Charity
It’s well-known fact that PJ Tucker holds the crown as the NBA’s biggest sneakerhead. What was once a hotly contested competition between the likes of Nick “Swaggy P” Young, Nate Robinson, Jordan Crawford, and even Kawhi Leonard soon became PJ Tucker’s competition to lose. Whether he’s pulling up to the NBA Finals rocking diamond-encrusted sneakers or shooting his knockdown right corner three-pointer in limited Kobe’s, there is no one more connected in the sneaker game than Tucker. His collection is so vast NBA athletes don’t even bother testing his reign.
What: PJ Tucker is selling 100 of his rarest sneakers for charity.
Where: Sole Stage eBay Store.
When: Right now, until sold out.
Making a name for himself with his gritty style of play is just one side of the ball game. PJ Tucker spends just as much time hunting down the rarest sneakers on the planet. Shoes that you or I could never get our hands on, even if we had the money. In a bid to thin his collection and benefit charity in the process, Tucker has partnered with Sole Stage to sell game-worn, Player Edition, and sample sneakers amongst other rarities.
The sale includes 100 pairs of sneakers from his highly coveted collection, kicks such as the “Eminem” Air Jordan 2 Retro PE, the coveted Nike Dunk SB Low Heineken, the PJ Tucker x Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Texas2Toronto” and the extremely hard to find Nike LeBron 8 V2 Diana Taurasi PE that PJ wore in Game 6 of the 2019 season.
A portion of sales will benefit the Soles 4 Souls charity and with much of the collection already soled you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on a pair via the links below. As it currently stands, you can still get your hands on those Eminem 2’s for a cool $5500 USD, but our pick of the bunch would have to be the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Test Sample – Game-Worn.
