While we’ve highlighted the majority of the best new collaborations from New Balance this year and featured a few unfamiliar faces in the process, their latest selection comes as a celebration of a legacy between two of the greatest to ever do it in the footwear space. Bodega and New Balance are celebrating 15 years of collaborations with the release of one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, the legendary 574 Legacy. Available in two colourways – yellow and blue – and featuring a lookbook shot with hip hop connoisseur, Larry June, the collection is available now in limited quantities, so act fast.

Three iconic figures of footwear arrive with New Balance, Bodega, and the 574 Legacy working together to draw nautical vibes by way of signal flags applied to a subtly altered 574 silhouette that features a more prominent, stacked EVA platform and ENCAP system. We love the modern look, and while the outsole unit is elevated, the classic mesh and suede upper adds a smart selection of perforations at the collar, lateral ‘N’ branding, and tongue, with strategic use of grey and reflective accents, and a smoky, translucent take on the original black outsole pay tribute to the timeless 574 design.
