Australian skateboard label and shop, PASS~PORT, has teamed up with Nike SB for a limited-edition sneaker centred around a ‘hiker’ aesthetic. While early teasers hinted at the shoes upcoming release, we now have our first look at on-foot imagery courtesy of YankeeKicks and it’s looking to be one of the most well-rounded dunk releases of the year with strong attention to detail.

It’s a great day for sneakerheads Downunder when one of our local, homegrown brands, gets to collaborate on one of the biggest sneaker silhouettes of the year. Well known in Aussie skate and streetwear circles, those overseas might think of PASS~PORT as our very own FTC, it’s a local shop that’s managed to draw interest thanks to key collaborations and quality branded pieces. The collab with Nike SB comes only months after the brand put its touch on a collection with Carharrt WIP that featured Jackets, Pants, Shirts, Crews, and a few Decks.
The sneaker features a series hiker specific additions, and while the exact inspiration behind the silhouette is yet to be announced, there’s plenty left to the imagination. We love that the sneaker is more than just another white and colour Nike Dunk, the brand has managed to find the perfect balance between ACG and Danner boot with embellishments that include multi-coloured rope laces that stay true to the colour palette, as well as metal eyelets in gold. Ripstop orange mid panels are surrounded by suede green overlays that offer a tasteful contrast typical of the Nike SB Dunk, the Swoosh is highlighted in a tumbled brown leather.
Further details include a PASS~PORT logo with the shovel replaced by a Swoosh, a black outsole complemented by orange stitching to resemble a traditional Goodyear welted hiking shoe, and a marbled outsole imitating dirt-trails rounds out the concept.
No release dates have been confirmed by either brand as of yet, but expect the PASS~PORT x Nike SB Dunk High to release before year-end at select skate shops. In Australia, that means your usual haunts, including Supply Store and PASS~PORT themselves.
