It’s been a good decade since Reebok first unveiled the Nano X line, and here in 2020, the brand is doubling-down again. Inspired by the attitudes and values of its wearers, Reebok is releasing an all-new version of the hit training shoe, reimagined with up to 50 per cent recycled materials.
Taking its most iconic training shoe silhouette, Reebok has revamped the Nano X with a series of sustainable updates and tech. Created as part of the (REE)CYCLED Collection, the (REE)CYCLED Nano X is a smarter, eco-friendly way to tackle your workout and fitness goals.
While sustainability is certainly a goal with the new release, Reebok didn’t let innovation get in the way of heritage. The (REE)CYCLED Nano X still offers a vast amount of structural support, including an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning and a high-density foam collar construction to improve overall comfort. Additionally, this updated Nano X cops the new Flexweave upper we saw on the tenth-anniversary release earlier this year.
“We’ve innovated the Nano for ten years to reach the standards set by the loyal Nano-community,” Tal Short, senior product manager of training footwear at Reebok said. “We listened to athletes of all levels from around the world for guidance throughout the Nano X creation process. The result is a shoe that represents a decade of dedication that we are excited to offer to a fitness community well beyond just the box.”
The new (REE)CYCLED Nano X is set to be released on August 1 and is priced at AUD$190.
