Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High ‘By Any Means’ Release Information

It looks like the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High “By Any Means” is finally getting a release date, and we have our first official look at the new colourways that instantly places itself into Nike x Supreme history as only the second Dunk High to ever wear the Supreme namesake – following the iconic star-covered set released back in 2003. Most importantly, there’s no amount of excessive branding to be found.

Known for often going a little overboard with the branding, Supreme is a label whose name carries a history in skateboarding like no other. While there are technically ‘better’ skateboard companies out there, none have been as successful at creating that transition between skate, street, and fashion. No stranger to collaboration, Supreme and Nike join forces once again to create a historic Dunk High model that features some of their best works, respective to each party.

On the Supreme side of things, the sneaker is adorned by their famous ‘By Any Means’ tagline first seen on a range of fitted hats in 2008, and then most famously found on their North Face Nuptse Jackets from 2015. This time, found with the same New York Magazine italicised embroidered font from 2008 providing a fresh take on John Jay’s Nike NYC graphic. Finishing touches are taken care of with an embroidered Supreme Team logo in white behind the heel tab, a Sup logo on the tongue, and red insoles with the classic Sup logo for branding.

Nike provides the classic silhouette, with a high-cut SB Dunk that’s frankly become a severely underrated model in the sea of Nike Dunk Lows. Here you’ll find black leather used for the toe-box, quarter panel and collar area and contrasting white leather is found everywhere else – just as a Dunk should be. Just like the Supreme branding that is found towards the heel area, the forefoot branding encompasses an embroidered ‘No <3’ graphic – taking inspiration from Milton Glaser‘s famed “I <3 New York” design.

The release date is set for March 3, 11 am EDT and March 5, 11 am JST. If past collections are anything to go by, we recommend watching the Nike SNKRS app carefully, as well as the Supreme New York website linked below. If you don’t feel like waiting, the StockX link above promises guaranteed early pair.
