The Nike x UNDERCOVER Daybreak is Coming to Australia

In collaboration with designer Jun Takahashi, Nike has just announced the Nike x UNDERCOVER SU19 Collection. It represents a partnership nearly ten years in the making, as Takahashi is the same man behind the brand’s running-focussed Gyakusou line. Featured in the new collection is the Nike x UNDERCOVER Daybreak sneaker, which will arrive in Australia this June.

“With Nike, we are able to explore technical materials and fabrications that allow for new investigations of UNDERCOVER’s design principles,” says Takahashi of the new collection. Nowhere is that more evident than with the Nike x UNDERCOVER Daybreak. When designing this radical silhouette, Takahashi challenged both static volume and utility norms. Blending technical prowess with raw accents, the sneaker defies convention while retaining a high-performance edge. It also looks quite comfortable, if we do say so ourselves.
