thisisneverthat x Crocs Clasic Clog Will Make Your Feet Disappear, Florida Style
It’s the trend that keeps on giving, Crocs are challenging the likes of Soulja Boy and New Balance for the top spot in the ‘comeback of the year’ category. And in this week’s iteration of “who has Crocs collaborated with now” we’ve got a hunting friendly colourway from Korean streetwear brand thisisneverthat. Good for taking out the trash, fishing, and a spot of huntin’ we’ve never come across a more stylish way to do all three at once. And yes, the application of Realtree camo means you have no choice but to prepare an adequate response to the “where are your feet” jokes.

The pictures really do speak a thousand words here, and it simply couldn’t get much simpler than a pair of camouflage Crocs. Here the brand takes the in-line camo design to a new height with the inclusion of limited edition Jibbitz – what in tarnation are they?! Jibbitz are the little rubber guys you poke through the holes on the top of crocs, obviously. One small step for the pleb who doesn’t have the thisisneverthat Jibbitz and one giant leap for the guy who doesn’t put rubber characters in his crocs.
Outside of the Realtree camo and Jibbitz, this is still the same old blown foam croc. Which is a good thing really, because there’s nothing wrong with the original and versions such as the Balenciaga are simply unsightly at the best of times. Don’t even get us started on the Homer Simpson – excuse me – Justin Bieber Crocs* that are questionable, to say the least.
Never have we felt so inclined to be a reseller than in this current Croc market. There’s literally a pair of Lightning McQueen Crocs going for AU$544, as listed by StockX. In the sneaker reseller market, we call that daylight robbery. The thisisneverthat x Crocs Classic Clog to release at retailers on August 24, priced at $60 USD, while the optional Jibbitz will run you a Hamilton (that’s an extra US$10).
