Style, Substance and Affordability With CJR Airspeed Watches
When it comes to watches old and new, Europeans (specifically the Swiss) are pretty good at taking all the limelight and glory for their creations. And so they oft should, some of the best watches around are from the continent in all their varying shapes and sizes. As a result, one can be forgiven for overlooking an Asian manufacturer as a viable option when selecting a quality timepiece, but you’d be daft to do so as your eye would (somehow) skip over these beautiful wristwatches.
CJR Airspeed are currently smashing their goals on INDIEGOGO, having already hit massive targets on Kickstarter last month. Their watches are a very cool blend of vintage styling with modern elements, and their asymmetric regulator dials look terrific (for those of you who aren’t aware, a regulator watch is one which has the minute, hour and second hands on seperate sub-dials).
Offered in two versions ‘Pilot’ and ‘Vintage’, they all feature a 21 jewel Miyota 8219 automatic movement, curved Hesalite crystal casing and are water resistant to 3ATM. At the bargain starting price of $349 USD, they’re a seriously hard watch to ignore, and you’d be pressed to find a nicer looking, better built watch for such good value, no matter where it’s been made.
